How we handle backloading
Every truck that delivers a family to Melbourne has to drive back to Brisbane. Backloading turns that empty return leg into a shared run. Your belongings are wrapped, labelled with a coloured lot tag and loaded into a measured section of the deck, alongside two or three other households heading the same way.
Because the truck was already making the trip, you pay for space rather than the whole vehicle. On most east coast routes that saves 35 to 50 percent against a dedicated truck. The trade-off is flexibility: pick-up is booked within a two to three day window and delivery within a five to seven day window.
Backloading suits units, share houses, part loads and anyone who is not racing a settlement date. If timing is tight, we can store your load at our Rocklea depot and deliver on a date that suits you.
